This was in a stack from my sister - I've read many others in the series - I like the crazy approach to vampires. This one was even more out there with weird biological experiments and such - the romance story was a little lacking but, was still pretty good.

Freebie. Pretty out there with the whole shifter thing mixed with biker thing - made me giggle to be honest... story itself wasn't bad.

I enjoyed this one a lot - I wanted to read Wrath and Beth's story the most, also like Trez's story, wasn't quite as in to the third story but, liked this one more than the past couple.

I read the Drake Sisters series and this one is set in the same town and mentions them so, wanted to check it out. This wasn't bad, didn't enjoy as much as ones from the other series but, I will continue.

Woohoo - Quinn! The second, third, and fourth stories were interesting...I like the shadows - they are cool to read about and, the new sort-of villain guy is interesting...but, I kept finding myself wanting to get thru their portions quickly so I could get back to Quinn & Blay. Next one is Wrath focused, should be good.

Was cool to see Tohrment get well and was cool to see some of John and Xhex relationship come around. Big twist with Lassiter at the end was pretty cool too.

This one was a bit all over the place - lots of stories being covered. Phury got a little irritating, kind of wanted to smack him and tell him to suck it up, stop the whining, etc. but, other than that, like I said lots going on - had to keep up....still really liking the series, look forward to next.

There were certainly some fun parts - decently interesting characters and some crazy paranormal  stuff but, many times throughout, felt like I was missing a lot - like a lot was left undeveloped. I don't see myself continuing with series.

Read an article where Darynda Jones (Charley Davidson / Grave series, which I love!) said her book boyfriend was Zsadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series - she described him awesomely so, I had to check out the series. Zsadist's book is book 3 but, I have a thing with reading a series in order, even if it 'doesn't matter' for the stories so, checked it out from the library and will go get the second one now. Took a little bit to get into it but, then, liked it a lot.

It wasn't bad...not great, not terrible but, fairly entertaining. Have liked others in the series a lot but, this one was just ok.

Really liked it. Love the setting, love the bit of paranormal, characters were totally likeable. Looking forward to the next.
